MISSION STATEMENT


  • To enlist and coordinate the manpower of MPMBC congregation for an effective performance of essential Christian activities.
  • To cultivate the Christian life of laymen (adult and youth) through study, worship, fellowship and service.
  • To enlist un-churched laymen for fellowship in and service through the church and to bring unsaved laymen into vital relations with God in Christ.
  • To inspire men to support the total program of the Church, the community, and Memphis and Shelby County Tennessee.

  • Every 3rd Sunday @ 1:00pm
Men's Ministry objectives are:
​

  1. To provide an organization through which a vital and meaningful fellowship among laymen (adult and youth) may be prompted.
  2. To provide an organized medium through which laymen of MPMBC can serve its purpose most efficiently and becomes a more vital part of Christian life.
  3. To enlist all the laymen in active Christian service to MPMBC.
  4. To promote among laymen a more definite and intelligent understanding of the Christian faith and life and the meaning of the Church.
  5. To keep laymen aware of their duty and obligations as members of MPMBC.
  6. To foster in laymen an intelligent loyalty and devotion to the Church and community.
  7. To cooperate with the pastor, officers and other ministries in developing and stimulating the work of the Church.
  8. To promote Church attendance and the study of Christian literature.
  9. To inspire laymen to support the financial program of the Church. To mentor adult males and male youths and encouraging them to do God’s work in the local community.
  10. To reach unsaved males with the Gospel and to win them to God in Christ through a personal commitment to Him.
  11. To persuade un-churched males to renew their fellowship to the church and to strengthen their faith in its message and program.
  12. To foster in males an active concern for community welfare and betterment and to promote Christian relationships.
  13. To inspire laymen to enter career fields of entrepreneurship, business studies, STEM, education, and politics as a Christian vocation.
  14. To promote the establishment of Christian homes and to guide the family toward fuller Christian development and cooperation.
  15. To mentor young males ages 12 through 25 and to help them build character, respect and responsibility within their homes, MPMBC and the community. This ministry will be divided into two (2) sub-groups ages 12 to 16 and 17 to 25. The mentors will prepare the older males to become role models to the younger males.
